Autumn Kids Clothing Swap:

Saturday, 31 October, 2020, 1-2:30pm

FAQs:

What can I swap? Clean clothing (all seasons) in good condition, hats, and shoes sizes 18 months-teens (including men’s and women’s clothing that teens could wear), free from stains, rips, missing buttons, broken zips, etc.  No underwear/swimwear.

How much clothing can I drop off?As much as you’d like as long as it is in good condition.  The maximum number of credits given will be 20 items.

Can I share my credits with a friend?  You can, but they would need their own ticket to enter the swap.

Where should I drop my clothing? Anytime before 31 October, bag up your kids clothing (we will be reusing the bags at the swap) and drop off your items in the drop box in front of my home in Northfields with a note that clearly states your name and email.

How do I receive my credits? You will receive an email with your credits equivalent to the number of items dropped off.  You will not receive credit for clothing that has stains, rips, missing buttons, is dirty, etc.

What happens the day of the swap? The day of the swap, arrive anytime between 1:00-2:30pm with a copy of both your ticket and your clothing credit voucher (you can show me the email on your phone).  Select favorite items and check out using your voucher.

Where does leftover clothing go?  Extra clothes will either be saved for the next swap or donated to charity.

What if I can’t come to the swap, but have clothes to donate?  By all means, drop them off!  Another family may be able to benefit from your donation.

How else can I help?If you have either a lightweight clothing rack that you no longer need, or hangers, you can drop them off with your clothes.  Thanks! If your teen would like to volunteer to help set-up and run the swap, please get in touch!
